Choose an amber bottle by product use, fill volume, closure and light-protection target. Start with an existing FEEMIO design or develop a new mold for your brand.
For a useful RFQ, include the model or bottle type, quantity, capacity, closure and custom work.
DIRECT ANSWER
An amber glass bottle is a brown-colored glass container that reduces light exposure compared with clear glass. Select the bottle with five inputs: product, capacity, fill process, closure and required light-transmission limit.
Use the exact bottle drawing, glass color method and light-transmission test plan for the selected model. Color appearance alone is not a performance specification.
SELECT BY REAL USE
Use this table to prepare the RFQ. List the capacity, neck finish, closure and test requirement for the selected model.
| Product use | Capacity range | Bottle types | Required RFQ data |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential oils, tinctures, serums | 5-100 mL | Euro dropper, Boston round | Dropper dose, pipette length, neck finish, light target |
| Medicine, extracts, supplements | 30-500 mL | Medicine, syrup, packer, Boston round | Closure system, liner, child-resistant or tamper-evident need, market documents |
| Skin care, hair care, home care | 30-500 mL | Boston round, spray, pump bottle | Liquid viscosity, pump output, dip-tube length, coating compatibility |
| Drinks, oils and specialty food | 100-1000 mL | Round beverage, beer, wine and oil bottles | Fill process, closure, food-contact documents, bottle strength and packing |
Record nominal fill, full-to-rim capacity, height, diameter and neck drawing in the approved specification.

Discuss a new moldCOLOR IS A TECHNICAL CHOICE
Use the product formula and test target to decide. A visual color match does not prove the same light protection.
| Method | What it is | Use | Required specification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Natural amber glass | The glass body is amber through its thickness. | Through-body amber color with a defined light-transmission limit. | Glass type, model-specific transmission result, shade tolerance and closure system. |
| Amber spray coating | A colored finish is applied to clear or colored glass. | More control over brand color, gloss, matte or gradient effects. | Adhesion, abrasion, chemical contact limits, color tolerance and light transmission after coating. |
| Clear glass plus label or carton | Clear bottle with an opaque label, sleeve, carton or overwrap. | Useful when product visibility or a clear bottle is important. | Coverage area, gaps, use after the carton is removed and product photostability. |
LIGHT-PROTECTION EVIDENCE
Measure light transmission on the finished bottle. Set the wavelength range, test method and acceptance limit before mass production.
Tell us the formula, light-sensitive ingredient, storage time and sales market.
For pharmaceutical work, use the wavelength range and acceptance limit named in the product specification.
Use the selected bottle, color or coating and closure. Record the model, batch, sample count and method.
Keep the report, result table and acceptance rule with the approved sample and order file.
"Quote model ___ in ___ mL. Test the finished bottle from ___ nm to ___ nm. Report the method, sample count, result and acceptance limit."
A packaging test does not replace a finished-product photostability study. The product owner sets the photostability requirement.
CUSTOMIZATION FIRST
FEEMIO focuses on custom projects. Stock orders cover standard models without custom color, logo or mold work.
Send one clear brief. Include your drawing or reference sample, target capacity, quantity, use, closure and destination.

BUYING QUESTIONS
Exact answers for model selection, MOQ, samples and production time.
No. Amber glass reduces transmission in parts of the UV and visible range. Test the finished bottle across the specified wavelength range and record the measured result.
No. Natural amber color is in the glass. A coating is applied to a glass surface. Compare appearance, durability, product contact limits and measured light transmission.
Use an amber Euro dropper for controlled drop dispensing or an amber Boston round bottle with a matched dropper closure. The RFQ must list fill volume, neck code, dose and seal requirement.
Use a Boston bottle only with a closure set matched to the full neck-finish code and pipette length. Treat the bottle, cap, liner and pipette as one tested assembly.
Yes. You can start from an existing model or discuss a new mold. Send the target capacity, drawing or sample, closure, finish, quantity and market.
A custom order must contain at least 300,000 bottles. Each capacity, color and logo line in a mixed order must contain at least 100,000 bottles.
No. The 5,000-bottle route is for non-custom stock models. Logo, color and shape changes use the custom-order minimum of 300,000 bottles.
The maximum sample quantity is 10 pieces for a stock sample request or a new-mold sample request.
New-mold sampling takes 1 month. Bulk production takes 1-2 months. Printing or coating takes 1-2 weeks. Shipping time is excluded.
Send the model or bottle type, capacity, quantity per size/color/logo, product use, closure, custom work, test target, destination and target date.
