What is an amber glass bottle?
An amber glass bottle is a brown-colored glass container that reduces light exposure compared with clear glass. Select the bottle with five inputs: product, capacity, fill process, closure and required light-transmission limit.
Use the exact bottle drawing, glass color method and light-transmission test plan for the selected model. Color appearance alone is not a performance specification.

Does amber glass block all light?
No. Amber glass reduces transmission in parts of the UV and visible range. Test the finished bottle across the specified wavelength range and record the measured result.
Is natural amber glass the same as an amber coating?
No. Natural amber color is in the glass. A coating is applied to a glass surface. Compare appearance, durability, product contact limits and measured light transmission.
Which amber bottle is best for essential oils?
Use an amber Euro dropper for controlled drop dispensing or an amber Boston round bottle with a matched dropper closure. The RFQ must list fill volume, neck code, dose and seal requirement.
Can I use an amber Boston bottle with a dropper?
Use a Boston bottle only with a closure set matched to the full neck-finish code and pipette length. Treat the bottle, cap, liner and pipette as one tested assembly.
Can FEEMIO make a custom amber glass bottle?
Yes. You can start from an existing model or discuss a new mold. Send the target capacity, drawing or sample, closure, finish, quantity and market.
What is the MOQ for custom amber bottles?
A custom order must contain at least 300,000 bottles. Each capacity, color and logo line in a mixed order must contain at least 100,000 bottles.
Can I order 5,000 amber bottles with my logo?
No. The 5,000-bottle route is for non-custom stock models. Logo, color and shape changes use the custom-order minimum of 300,000 bottles.
How many samples can I request?
The maximum sample quantity is 10 pieces for a stock sample request or a new-mold sample request.
How long do custom amber bottles take?
New-mold sampling takes 1 month. Bulk production takes 1-2 months. Printing or coating takes 1-2 weeks. Shipping time is excluded.
What information belongs in an amber bottle RFQ?
Send the model or bottle type, capacity, quantity per size/color/logo, product use, closure, custom work, test target, destination and target date.
